The BeGreen Camelford Energy Advice Centre is now open. Everyone is welcome to call in or telephone to find out more.

The aims of BeGreen Camelford are to:

Offer advice on energy efficiency; how to reduce energy usage and improve wasteful energy consumption habits. Free low energy lightbulbs are available to residents who sign up to the Camelford Carbon Reduction Pledge.
Reduce fuel consumption and fuel bills by helping poorly insulated homes to search for available grants and get access to free or discounted cavity wall and loft insulation. Top-up funding from BeGreen Camelford will be available in some cases.
Provide advice on alternative energy systems, discuss the options available to local residents, get people in touch with approved installers and assist with applications for grants. Further top up funding will be available from BeGreen Camelford to make alternative energy financially more available.
Provide a carbon calculator service to record progress made in cutting personal carbon emissions.
Work with our partner groups to deliver a low-carbon-living message; being a presence in the community by visiting schools and community groups and making the most up-to-date information on energy matters readily available for all.
