We believe in open consultation with all stakeholders at each and every stage of the development process. We have consulted with local communities through public exhibitions at local schools and community halls. We have also consulted with all our neighbours and local authorities.
We will offer and deliver significant tangible community benefits which are educational, economic and environmental over the life of the windfarm and tailored to the needs of the local communities.
We will offer the opportunity and support to make Camelford and Davidstow Carbon Neutral over a 10 year programme, incorporating funding to improve energy efficiency and reduce domestic CO2 emissions, in conjunction with Community Energy Plus and Cornwall Sustainable Energy Partnership. This will operate through BE GREEN, an energy advice shop located in Camelford and a Community Trust will be set up to run and allocate the funding.
