The construction period will be approximately 9 months
Less than 1% of the total site will be used for the construction of the windfarm
Vehicle access will be from the A39 and along the Moor Road , avoiding the existing Cheese factory
and the difficult junction from the A395.
Construction traffic will consist mainly of light vehicles and normal heavy goods vehicles
Larger loads delivering turbine components will take place for an approximate 4 week period. This will be managed in conjunction with local authorities to minimise traffic disruption
Existing concrete
hard standings and stone access, will
be utilised wherever possible
No new asphalt roads will be built
New and upgraded tracks on the site will comprise of crushed, compacted local stone or reclaimed concrete from the woodland area.
Temporary excavations will be reinstated to match surroundings.
