The proposed energy output will provide around 50% of Cornwall 2010 target for renewable energy in one location rather than a proliferation of wind farms in Cornwall.

Wildlife Watch Schemes, in tandem with interpretation boards in and around the site, highlighting the habitat and wildlife, the actual turbines and renewable energy.
Supporting local Energy Efficiency schemes in Cornwall in conjunction with Cornwall Sustainable Energy Partnership, Community Energy Plus and NCDC. Providing around £15,000 top-up funding each year for specific Camelford and Davidstow Home Health projects for Energy Efficiency measure (for example loft & cavity wall insulation, Compact Fluorescent Lights & tank jackets) for ‘able to pay’ customers in this specific zone, in-order to allow this zone to be free for all householders.
Preference will be given, where possible, to South West companies for construction and supply contracts that will have a value in excess of £15 million.
